Hand forged from 1.2210 high carbon steel aka silver steel in a stone wash finish. The handle is heirloom fit African blackwood.  Heirloom fit or museum fit is a technique where the joint between the handle wood and steel of the blade is made proud and the edges are rounded so any movement of the handle material doesn't effect comfort.
