Introduction To Bladesmithing - 1 Day

1 Day Course

This course requires no prior experience and will cover: - Forge Safety - Using a gas forge, hammer and anvil to shape your knife - Grinding the edge bevels - Heat treating your knife - Sharpening and finishing During the course, you will be guided through the process of forging a one piece integral knife. You will leave the workshop with a finished knife that you have made yourself. What's included: - All materials and tools - Personal protective equipment - Tea, coffee and biscuits The course will run 9am to 5pm with a short break for lunch (please bring a packed lunch). This course currently teaches a maximum of 2 students per day.
